Welcome to GreatNews!

The year 2003 is starting with a "Bang" as you will quickly notice from the new
releases: The
"hot" items of the week were Tamiya 1/35 T-55A and Marder III Shells. Accurate
Miniatures also
surprised us with the re-release of the 1/48 SBD-5 Dauntless expected early
next week. The
B-25s are also available from the same company, and we are glad that this kit
was finally
re-released as we were almost out of these beautiful replicas. Hasegawa
released another
batch of new kits including a 1/48 Bf.109F-4 Trop and Spitfire Mk.VIII US
Army. Car Modelers
will be glad to see the Tamiya 1/24 Enzo Ferrari, two new 1/6 scale
motorcycles Honda CB750
and CB 750 OHC and many other releases from Fujimi, Aoshima, and Playing
Mantis (Polar Light).
One decal to be pointed out is the Xtradecals on the 1/48 Hornet for the two
best sellers
Classic Airframes kits. Trumpeter also released the highly expected 1/72
F-107A and we
restocked the incredible 1/350 USS Hornet. Other interesting releases should
be noticed
like the new AJ Press, Militaria in Detail, or Wydawnictwo books.  Italeri
also released
  a 1/12 F-16 Cockpit, 1/48 S-3A Viking and two 1/72 figure sets Cossack Cavalry
and Union
Artillery. GreatModels has now "dropped" the Imex 1/18-1/35 Display cases due
to the
impossibility to receive or ship these products without damage to the thin
cases.

We have received many "Special Orders" lines during the week: Lone Star Models,
DES kits,
Verlinden production, SAM Publication books (still waiting for a "lost box"),
and Milicast
to name a few. We are also expecting many more lines from foreign suppliers.
We have finally
received the ENTIRE 'Naval Series' paint line from Testors. Ship Modelers will
be pleased
with this Acrylic line, especially considering the many wooden ships arriving
at GMW next
week. GreatModels now stocks over 20,275 products for the static modelers, and
over
8,000 R/C products. The overall database now includes over 100,000s products
to choose
  from.

You might have noticed our new pricing policy, involving deeper discounts for
products
"not in stock" and expensive products (over $200). It looks like many modelers
have
started to take advantage of these aggressive prices as our January sales are
even
better than our record-breaking December! We appreciate your continued support
of
GreatModels and hope that we provided a spotless service during this past
holiday
  season.
