  • Plan out placement and scene. Draw on base.
  • Use odd numbers - rule of three. Don't follow side of base...
  • Change heights of scene - epoxy putty, sytrofoam, etc. Woodland Scenics..
  • Games Workshop epoxy ribbon - Green stuff. Don't need to prep base. Workable, but dries very hard
  • Cardboard for large bases then add surface.
  • Scale effect with painting - look at real life examples or terrain. Take pictures.
  • Lay 'gravel' first, paint it, then add grass.
  • Variation of colors - add depth.
  • Do not take away from main item.
